Anyway, the Ad in Times Education is indeed referring to the same program. It is called the Gnnit’s Business Systems and Information Management (BSIM) Program. Man, I have a strong 6th sense, don’t u think? Just the moment I think this is a great initiative by GNIIT, the Ads start coming in! wow!

For you, a BBA student, it surely makes sense as it has a module in Business Intelligence also, which will help you a lot among other things. I must say you have a good plan about your future – MBA in IT. And the program can help you gain an edge. Go for it dude, and walk in an NIIT center to find out more about the program. Last point – It is SAS certified! Dont miss it.

I saw a NIIT ad in the Times paper today. Are you talking about the same program? Is it of any benefit? I am in my BBA 3rd Sem. Will it make sense for me to do it before I go for my MBA in IT? Thanks.

Hey Madhulika, Thanks for dropping by. Yeah I am the same girl.

And you know what, I just had a session with a few students – same phase of career decision – and trust me, it is really a tough phase for these kids. Anyway, would advice your sister to pursue IT along with any stream she decides for herself. There are quite a few options that allow students to do such programs simultaneously.

Business Intelligence It is a term used to refer to the process of business management and the knowledge derived from analyzing an organization’s information. BI is important for organizations to a great extent. GNIIT’s Business Systems & Information Management program is a good option for students who want to take it up along with B.Com, B.A. or anything else.
